Just my 2 cents, I might be wrong:
My understanding this means pve (i think specifically pvestatd/qmeventd) tries to access the QMP socket of the VM but it couldn't and timeout, this can occurs for many reasons, for example such as another...
Hallo.

A bit more on the proxmox-offline-mirror tool, it creates local repositories, with a snapshoted subdirectories.
These snapshots are folders that are named after the exact moment the sync was done, so each time you use the tool a new folder is...
I had exactly this on my own two nodes, and it cost me a weekend before I
understood it. So here is the mechanism, and a two-minute test that will tell
you where you stand.
The card's internal switch (a VEB) forwards between the PF, the VFs and...
I had SSD for OS, tried to go the ZFS on bare disks. Failed miserably due to a kernel bug in 7.0.
Move to HDD only, 3+3 RAID10 instead of RAIDZ2 (4+2). Went back to hardware RAID1 for boot.
There is another old thread about that topic as well as bugzilla entry.

It would also be useful to test whether the same NFS export can be mounted manually from that host...
Poison seems a bit harsh. Also, have you looked at what is required to properly secure PVE? It seems to have a lot of shortcomings out of the box.
Have you already considered Qubes OS?
You could only grant them access to manually execute shutdowns via the UI with VM.PowerMgmt perms on a pool or on individual guests.
For the scheduling you'd need to go outside PVE. Either drive the API directly with a token scoped to that same...
You could try needrestart: needrestart man page
By default, it runs in interactive mode, i.e. if you update from the CLI (apt update && apt full-upgrade), it tells you whether a reboot is necessary, lists all services that need to be restarted...
Wheres the thumbs down on this forum for, umm, some posts. Askin' like. Just askin'.
Exactly What is prohibiting an installation of Proxmox from either source ISO or Debian and overlay on top?
Perhaps the superb devs at Proxmox have better...
we've already prioritized internally going through the backlog of the installer issues filed in bugzilla for the next series of releases, so they should all get an update one way or another once that has happened! please be patient (we are aware...
