I run a (Linux) gaming VM with a (AMD) GPU (and USB) passthrough and it works great. As long as I give it a between a quarter to half the resources of the host (and don't stress the host with other things while gaming), I don't notice any latency... -

Please check which specific IP of download.proxmox.com your PVE host resolves too, e.g. just using ping or dig or the like, as with that we can determine if your source IP gets correctly geoip-mapped and thus actually uses one of our north... -

AFAIK, they have more than one product. I'm talking about vSAN, which does provide one or more storage controller VMs that give you a virtual san on top of your old dumb san with offsite replication, thin provisioning and snapshots.

KYes, of course, that’s possible. However, in my case QEMU actually performs better than Firecracker for this workload, and since Proxmox VE is already built around QEMU, it seemed worth exploring whether this functionality could be integrated...

Danke - das war die Lösung ! Ein bißchen basteln mußte ich bei einer W7-VM. Dort muß man den Ordner mit der blnsrv.exe von der CD auf die vHD kopieren, sonst wird der Dienst immer auf der CD gesucht ...

I never doubted you, maybe the 245K has something different form the 265K. I dunno. I'm scratching my head since the only difference is the cpu model. Same motherboard, bios and software. I'll confirm one last time comparing to what you gave me.
