I'm not aware of any such binary, but i also checked multiple of my systems (pve, pbs, pdm) and zfs_update exists on none. the file list for zfsutils-linux (which is the package for the zfs userspace binaries) also does not contain it. i think... -
ClamAV updates automatically via the clamav-freshclam.service, which run continuously in the background. Check: ~# systemctl status clamav-freshclam PMG uses clamav from debian upstream - once they have an updated version - you will get it...

Is there a specific reason you disabled compression? AFAIK it will only help due to metadata compression, not hurt. Especially with HDDs. I'd try disabling atime and enabling compression again. Ideally you set it at the pool root and let the CT's... -

It's also worth mentioning that sometimes disabling "freeze-fs-on-backup" in the qemu agent settings (under VM > Options > QEMU Guest Agent > Freeze/thaw guest filesystems on backup for consistency ) can help preventing VMs freezing / crashing.
