Snapshot or backup are basically only a different action that needs to be executed per VM.
So a copy of backup job scheduler but for making snapshots would be fine. Manual actions could be triggered with "run now" button. So no new "bulk action"...
Yes, I concur. Atomic snapshots of groups of VMs are only possible with storage support e.g. ZFS, where you can snapshot multiple snapshots via recursive snapshotting, proper dataset trees required. I used this in the past especially for group...
Good to see that there is at least some work done for a better integration, but this is totally useless in comparison to other existing storage solution that just hook into PVE itself. Why would someone want an additional interface for something...
Dann neue VM...
Hi,
Currently, this is the only way to achieve this [0]. The loopback networking overhead is practically negligible, so performance shouldn't be an issue.
I'm assuming you are doing this to prepare the data for an offsite sync. Otherwise...
I'm doing the same since my offsite PBS is on a vserver and I don't want to store my backups unencrypted on it. But I also want to use pull-sync so my local PBS doesn't need to be allowed to acces the offsite PBS in the firewall/iptables/pbs...
Veeam B&R 13.1.0.411 release dropped just yesterday / today -> Installed it and already tried out this as now we are on supported version. Issue is still the same, but luckily we now get the product support and Veeam has to investigate this...
Updated 'zfs list' showing more detail. RESERV is set to none so thin provisioning is enabled.
Most of these machine apart from 110 are have been migrated from vmware.
I understand about thin provisioning and some of these migrated machines...

Hi Team,
We are currently running Proxmox Datacenter Manager (PDM) version 1.1.7
Is there any way to enable users to create, deploy, and manage virtual machines directly from PDM, providing centralized management across the Proxmox environment...
A scheduled backup of a VM to a Proxmox backup server fails if the CRS simultaneously migrates the VM from one PVE host to another.
The backup job was scheduled to run at night, the migration of the VM was initiated by CRS without user input.
Is...
Could be interesting for you when you running Netapp together with Proxmox:
Storage Manager for Proxmox (SMP) offers end-to-end storage management for virtual machines within Proxmox environments that utilize NetApp storage systems. By allowing...
Nope, since you need at least a basic subscription for it. The community subscription gives you access to the enterprise repository and removes the nag screen, that's it. Community subscription doesn't contain any options for payed support, it's...
