    Wenn du verlässliche Sicherungen hast, dann reicht das zur Installation. Nur am Rande: Ich nutze da z.B. gerne einen Stick mit Ventoy, statt einen bootable Stick pro SW. Ein HW-Wechsel ist völlig unnötig.

    It isn't enforced. It's set when the VM is started, then left alone. Expect some drift if you don't shut down regularly. (Soft reboots don't count.) (Additionally that "explanation" makes no sense to me at all)
