I recommend to stick with the soft watchdog. It works well and you avoid any issues due to questionable quality of OOBM hardware and software ;) -

The default fallback is selected if no other watchdog is configured when the watchdog-mux daemon is started. There is no mechanism to fall back if a hardware watchdog fails. HI, Further troubleshooting led me to the BIOS where I saw the NIC AOC wasn't even discovered there. I re-seated the NIC and then it worked fine out of the box. Thanks for spending the time to address this issue.

Corosync is best run over low-latency, direct and static paths -- so you shouldn't have a dynamic routing protocol underneath (Also even if you want to do this, you'd have to create a fabric from scratch manually before... -
