WThis is what we're using now. The admin WebUI is...odd, but from the end-user perspective, it just works. Fully supports Proxmox.

WI tried this recently. It has a ton of promise, but felt very hacked together. We had a lot of stability issues during our 60-day trial. I might have another go with it in a year or so, but I didn't want a system I had to babysit all the time.

I think it would be beneficial for devs to implement retry logic on GET requests for chunks, with an env variable for how many retries.

Klar, das Snapshotten der Datastore-Platte ist Quatsch, da sind wir uns einig, PBS versioniert die Backups ja selbst. Bei der kleinen rootfs/Config gehts mir aber nicht um die Backupdaten, sondern darum nach nem verkorksten PBS-Update oder ner... -

Thanks for the report - and quite well to know that most things seem to run okay with this profile... We do plan to evaluate and change the use of /tmp in general in PMG - and move most things to /run where sensibly possible - so that should fix...
