Ddaanw replied to the thread How to downgrade zfs?.I would definitely check out the journal ouput if there is any relevant messages there first. If installing a kernel also fails because of your zfs 2.4.x related issue then booting into 6.8.12-25 (i.e. older zfs) should solve that.

JYES you will get a zfs and scrub warming mail. Found out the hard way. Now working on replacing a faulty drive in a zfs mirror pool.
