DThe percentage depends on a few things but the new PVE default is 10% and for ZoL it's max(total_memory - 1GB, 5/8 × total_memory). I also have a snippet here to easily alter it. I didn't post it before because I don't see a good reason to alter it.

Oder falls du nicht alles direkt löschen möchtest, einfach das Backup in einen anderen Namespace verschieben, welcher nicht auf Tape landet.

@ Hier gibt es bei der Kombi PVE 9.2.2 und Veeam 13.0.2.29 das Problem nicht mehr. Mit der 13.0.2.29 wurde der Fehler eigentlich behoben.

SI don't know at the top of my head what it uses to calculate this but I'd check the Memory Usage and Host Memory Usage columns in Datacenter > Search.
