Hi,
thank you for the report, the git://git.proxmox.com/git/mirror_ubuntu-kernels was slightly behind, so it didn't yet contain the newest required tag. The issue should be fixed now thanks to @fabian!
I think PVE support several standard Linux/Debian packages for this and it's not managed by Proxmox. The manual suggests manually editing the default chrony configuration...
Hi
I have fixed this problem by using telegraf as a compatibility layer (actually it's a workaround until v3 support by PVE itself)

flush_interval = "5s"...

Hi guys, got a head scratcher here. Got a USB microphone, specifically this one from Amazon. Want to use it on my Windows 10 VM in Proxmox, but there is no input signal at all coming from it. I am passing through with the mapping shown below...
I do. Because running software which doesn't get security updates belong in museums, not in production, even in homelabs.
Thins won't change anything for ProxmoxVE though. GlusterFS support is deprecated and wil be removed in qemu and thus also...
Many discussions have compared Proxmox and VMware from a feature perspective, but almost none compare performance. We tested PVE 7.2 (kernel=5.15.53-1-pve) and VMware ESXi 7.0 (update 3c) with a 32 VM workload to see which performs better under...
@fiona was that meant for me ?
Edit: I guess so, I tried adding that option to the nic of the vm and turning checksumming but it then the network of the vm didnt work (no nic found in the vm)
Alright I did the scrub, it didn't find anything but a single error, I removed that file, tried to reboot and the same error occurred when trying to boot. It's like 30TB of stuff so I don't have anywhere to move it to. Anyway to fix this specific...
Hi everyone,
I have a Fujitsu Esprimo P7010n and want to install Proxmox Pve 9.x. However, I'm having trouble because my BIOS doesn't recognize the USB drive. The same drive with Windows boot installed is recognized immediately.
For Proxmox...
Sorry, i was in a big stress^^
seems it because of the new kernel 6.8.12-29-pve, on PVE 8.4.19
I revert to 6.8.12-28-pve and it appear to be ok the VM are now accessibles, I cross fingers
For those on older Westmere hardware, I finagled out the following custom CPU to use with the W11 VMs we have that need WSL2 and it seems to be working so far. 1. It tells Windows 11 that it is on a supported CPU by model name, 2. I can use...
Seemed to have been a time-specific bug, because I currently do have at least one server with a MegaRAID SAS which is conveniently still in the Linux kernel: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/drivers/scsi/megaraid/megaraid_sas.h - it...
Your SAS controller is supported in current flavors of Linux and will be for quite some time to come. This isn't Windows, there is hardware from the 90s that is still supported in Linux.
As for performance, you're comparing apples and oranges...

The node has seen another crash within 48 hours. Any suggestions? I'm not sure about the best way to share the log files, do let me know if those would help.
