I reinstalled VE 8.4 and this is running out of the box, with the same BIOS Settings.
I also tired install Debian Tixie, works out of the Box.
Strange that only by request a reboot the system stuck. If i poweroff and power on again, it's working...
Maybe a BIOS update or a Linux kernel update (as this is not specific to Proxmox) will fix it in the future. If you want a work-around then search for the kernel parameter reboot= in the Linux documentation...
Hi everyone!
I’m running Proxmox on a NiPoGi AK2 Plus MiniPC (n100, 1 TB, 16GB RAM)
Everything works great for the most part – VMs are running fine, access works perfectly, and everything seems to be smooth… except for one annoying issue...
HI,
Further troubleshooting led me to the BIOS where I saw the NIC AOC wasn't even discovered there.
I re-seated the NIC and then it worked fine out of the box.
Thanks for spending the time to address this issue.
Hi!
Thanks for reaching out, there's another user that seems to have similar problems [0]. It would be helpful to have more information, could you provide a boot log for the system? Does the NIC have the most recent firmware on it?

Hi all,
I just purchased a super micro server recently with their BCM57416 10G ethernet adapter and after a fresh install I dont see anything in lspci that refers to the device, nor in dmesg.
I'm guessing maybe the drivers are missing? Do I...

We currently run the apply unconditionally if we detect a non-vlan-aware bridge, see [1] for more in-depth reasoning. We should maybe revisit if we can improve the situation there and improve the change detection.
In the meanwhile the problem...
Hi,
If I'm not mistaken, there's already information in the official documentation regarding maintenance (node and ceph).
As for the UPS (with Nut, for example), since it's not part of the Proxmox core but rather a modification of the server...
I suspect that the upgrade changed something about the smart monitoring to reset the tracked stats, or maybe to start tracking stats that weren't tracked before. This is probably why it jumped from 0 to 12 or 0 to 16, and it's likely that you...
