This is not the default query you would ask just in the forums. To answer this properly, best to contact a proxmox partner for a tailored setup. Information is just not enough to answer properly. Your money bounds would also be very important...

Yeah disabling simpledrm for me fixed things probably because my nodes are simple, 1 igpu (which gets passed through to lxc containers) and 1 dgpu (which is blacklisted and passed through to vms). In multi gpu systems it might not work as well
Ok, i found another thread with quite the same problem showing up:

Only he tries to...
This swapping on reboot of card0 and card1 has been ongoing for a long time. the simpledrm solution isn't specific to proxmox and I don't see that in the logs anywhere. It does not seem to be a PVE specific issue rather than a debian one, but I...
Hallo Erik,
danke für die Info, ich verwende überwiegend Linux-VMs.
Hab's bereits mit VirtioFS und NFS versucht und eine 'gute Menge' Fehlermeldungen bekommen.
Bleibe jedoch weiter am Ball.
Beste Grüße
Stefan
Yes, you can even confirm that yourself by rebuilding the same lxc-pve repo state twice, namely:
rebuilding with Debian baseline frozen on May 1st -> binary is bit-wise identical and gets flagged.
rebuilding with Debian baseline from today...

Is there any way to re-enable cet-ss? We have AMD processors in our shop and had no boot issues on Windows with VBS.
Besides reverting those Perl scripts that Fiona touched, I was wondering if there was a better way, perhaps through the VMs...
We decided against it intitally as doing so is IMO suspicious on it's own. If you're a customer of those services, you could report it as false positive though, which could avoid false-positives in other executables and help more overall.
That...
Then use a ZFS Dataset and import your disk, with compression it will compress the data "on the fly".
I got a Win7 Clone of a 500 GB Disk. It use now 68 GB disk space.

sometimes the real problem hides behind a simple question. In the meantime I found out that qemu-img resize does not work but shoots the disk resized, no matter how few bytes you shrink it. How about that?
Thanks! I can see the logic of reporting the false positive to the vendors too.
I understand it is confirmed this is indeed a false positive and a possible supply chain attack has been ruled out?
When creating a fw rule via pvesh like for example
pvesh create /cluster/firewall/groups/dropOutRFC1918 --pos 1 --enable 1 --type "out" --action "DROP" --log "debug"
the pos option is ignored. The last created rule will always become pos 0 and...

Hi there,
we currently have a 3-node full-meshed SDN using OpenFabric for our ceph backend (used on separate interfaces and networks). Ceph backend uses 25gbit/s FC (we have 2x 2 Port Cards). We want to increase our cluster by 3 nodes but...
So, I've been currently running about 20 Windows guests (using VirtIO SCSI) in my home environment across 8 different PCs running Proxmox for several years. The Proxmox host PCs have a wide range of hardware ranging from an old Intel 4770k to a...
