Everything is predicated on your risk tolerance. in a homelab, I have no real qualms about running a simple ext4 filesystem on a single HDD. like you, I dont remember ever losing a single bit (at least not being aware or impacted by it)- but...
I think it's rather odd to call people "dogmatic" who don't want people to risc their data due to not following best practices. If this is dogmatic I'm a dogmatic too and would prefer not to get insulted for trying to keep people from getting burnt.
@dxxd,
It was shut-down when I ran the command I posted above. I've since tried running while it was up via the UI and that seemed to complete without giving an error message. However, I now get this warning message when booting the VM:

Hi,
not only, it also impact linux when Secure Boot is enable and use shim signed with : MS 2023 UEFI CA
have you done it when the VM was shutdown ?
Best regards,
Welcome, @terramotu
The symptoms might be different, but the vendor and versions ring a bell, so you can give a try to the quick and reversible fix described in...
Its entirely up to you. it is POSSIBLE to set up a hypervisor, a pbs vm, import the data, and restore- but by that logic you could just rebuild all your vms from scratch too. your RTO/RPO policies are your own.
I might be wrong about this but I *think* it's for any system using UEFI with Secure Boot, is it not? My VM is giving this warning about it when it boots:
WARN: EFI disk without 'ms-cert=2023k' option, suggesting that not all UEFI 2023...

Recently been trying to get a server node set up, but I keep getting random crashes (no specific amount of time passes) while the machine is basically idle.

Is there a way to 'pin' the Client column in the Tracking Center?
I use this column a lot to figure out what networks spammers are sending from so I can blacklist it.
Thank you

I'll answer both questions in one, because they're quite related: The scheduling mode (basic, static-load, dynamic-load) specifies which measure is used to compare nodes and HA resources against each other:
For the basic mode, it's simply how...
