Just to ask, more than one backup of each VM?
PBS automatically stores one copy of each unique chunk. It can actually be encrypted with the same key, and still work.
How are your GC and prune jobs set?
You should always pass-through a controller, never disks.

We have a backup MX running offsite that handles store/forward for email when our primary network is unreachable.
I'm wondering if there's a way to whitelist SOME things, but not others (we could on our last filter). We'd like to ignore SPF...
I have an offsite backup MX server to avoid bouncing mail if my connections or gateway are down. The problem is that i think pmg's SPF filter rejects all mail that has been relayed through the backup MX because it isn't part of the sender's SPF...

Since the reported issue does not occur when using pve-kernel-7.0.0-3-pve on Zen4, I would like to know the results of testing whether switching to pve-kernel-7.0.0-2-pve on Zen⁺ (Ryzen 3 PRO 2200GE) resolves the problem.
When I do an S3 Refresh (after migrating to a new hardware), all datastores (also local datastores) become unavailable. I assume the Bad Requests may caused by the S3 Endpoint, however, one laggy S3 Refresh should not affect other datastores to...

So that a feature request or a bug report has more chance to be noticed and not forgotten, it should be submitted at https://bugzilla.proxmox.com/ :)
Allo,
I have been using PBS for many months and I still see the Deduplication factor as 1.0.
I do not encrypt the backups and my VMs usually do not have snapshots. My datastore is using iSCSI volumes formatted with ZFS.
Should I expect better...
I just noticed something. This seems to be a cluster problem. Because when I type the root password of another server into another server, the GUI opens. But the inside of the server where I typed the password (PVE) is visible. In this case, how...

Very high CPU load after upgrading to 7.0.0-3-pve. Even small vms only running NTP have 30-40% cpu usage.
Tried rebooting several times.
Downgraded to 6.17.13-6-pve and all is normal again.
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 PRO 2200GE
Thanks @Onslow - kinda makes sense - on the other hand - if that's the new norm, then I suggest the toggle element be removed to avoid confusion - just an idea
Thx for the prompt response

Hi, @rfox
Did the phenomenon start just in PVE 9.1 or could it be present in 9.0 as well and could be unnoticed?
I'm asking because it can be (partially?) explained by this change in PVE 9.0:
