We are currently in the process of testing restoring our vms using veeam to proxmox. I have a proxmox server setup release 9.1.1 and Veeam is on the version 12 patched to the latest and greatest. When I try to restore the vm from a backup file it...
I really wish I hadn't gone with the default partitioning sometimes because of stuff like that, and the root lvm "only" being 100gb by default.
I have found one minor bug - when backups are running my webui gets really slow and tasks (container...
Cant install proxmox-kernel-7.0. But it was due to having no space left on /boot/efi (1GB). Using a apt autoremove helped. Just wanted to post it here, if anyone has the same situation.

Hello,
I am currently trying to solve a problem with OOM/memory exhaustion on 2 of our proxmox hosts. The problem is extensive shared and buff/cache memory usage, which none of our other hosts have. The 2 problematic nodes are in 3-node cluster...
Ok, as you may of noticed from previous posts from me, I'm not that familiar with Linux, but I try.
Attached, thank-you for your reply.
I'm a little lost with your reply sorry. My WinSCP is the correct destination path I believe? mnt/sdh1/dump/ ??
Has anyone got the iGPU of an Ultra 285k or equivalent to passthrough with hdmi output?
I followed the guide here https://github.com/LongQT-sea/intel-igpu-passthru using both arrow lake and universal roms but i cant get an hdmi display out in...

My PVE rpool has ghost data that I cannot remove.
I misconfigured VirtIOFS storage and somehow got rpool to contain my /mnt/vmdata rather than it being located on the intended storage pool, a 12TB RAIDZ pool (16TB raw). The storage was shared to...
I had a big brain moment and I think I figured out how to set things up now. Like I was saying before, I don't want to have any internet access on my OOB management network. So I'll create two management networks, one OOB with no internet access...

That's the whole point of this construct, isn't it?
If that behavior is a problem you might want to add an additional and completely independent corosync ring "outside" of those already existing networks. It must have separate wires/fibre...
I am unclear of your question? You assigned 108 GB RAM to VMs. They are only using 95 GB. 95/125 is less than 80%. If you want them to use less RAM you should allocate less RAM.
