Hi everyone, I'm currently managing a Proxmox Backup Server (PBS) instance that's running out of storage space in the datastore.
My current environment is PBS based on Debian Bookworm, which uses ZFS 2.2.6. As many of you know, older ZFS...
Great that the details helped you!
The recommended way to put an LRM service into an idle state would be to either move all of the HA resources placed on that node to another node or put all the HA resources placed on that node into the...
Thank you for the detailed and patient explanation. It's helpful to understand the logic behind the LRM idle state and the specific conditions for restarting the service.
It would be much easier if we could just toggle the watchdog or "disarm"...
Adding another datapoint.

Been fine for more than a year, with Linux version 6.8.4-2-pve but upgraded mid-March, and ~9 days later had the...
You no longer have a cluster. or at least not a functioning one. before proceeding to troubleshoot adding a node, do you want to rescue the existing cluster, or start from scratch? if you want to rescue the existing cluster, you need to establish...
OMG Thank you! I am seeing the same issue and keep suffering zfs pool corruption the last few days. I just pinned back to 6.8.12-20-pve from 6.17.13-2-pve to see if it helps. I have a Raptor Lake (i5-13500) processor. I will try pinning to the...
/etc/pve actually was deleted somehow during this fiasco. That's why the cluster reverted to being standalone node. I'm trying to figure out how that happens.

Without knowing any specifics, It could be a number of things.
The BIOS may have that ssd higher in the boot order than your proxmox. And it is trying to boot a bad OS
The SSD could be in your /etc/fstab and causing errors
Your 2 TB SSD still...
Sorry for my late response, thank you for your feedback!
As you mentioned it is only logged once, difficulty is that those messages are reported at the end in the logs, so it is a timing issue.
For now I leave it, as it is not a recurring error...
Could it be, that you are trying to load an UEFI OpROM with a Legacy installation? "Checksum error" sounds strange, unless you did not really download the correct file.
CPU type auf Host gesetzt? Überprüfe in der VM mal (Powershell):

solltest Du die CPU auf x86-64-v3 ändern. Ansonsten läuft Virtualisierung in...
Hard to tell. The Proxmox installation on Debian isn't really designed for a desktop environment. I suspect there is some sort of firewall enabled that could be blocking port 8006, which is the port used by the web interface.
@ucholak Please note that syncoid offers zstd / lz4 configurable compression options out of the box too.
Also, for having used all three tools for quite some time, I found the following:
Syncoid:

The previous versions online guides are outdated for Alderlake iGPU, if you ask AI you must be extremely specific with the information you provide.
I have not had any success making that guide work, however I didn't put much effort into it...
hello, the fix for this was to enable all 3 gpus seperately for the sr-iov process.
So,instead of
sudo systemctl enable --now pve-nvidia-sriov@ALL.service
run
systemctl enable --now 'pve-nvidia-sriov@0000:5a:00.0'
systemctl enable --now...
That point is brainrot stupid. Especially considering that the point before was "censorship and blocking".
It is not the DNS job to protect you from phising or malicious websites!
It is the DNS job to translate domains into IPs.
You are of...
