Oops, only read the topic about Windows :)
Actually I don't know if Fedora is doing smth similar like VBS xD I doubt it.
Honestly,m now I wonder why "Host" is causing slow downs in Fedora. But we shouldn't keep posting in an old thread like this...

If you use "host" please remove the nested-virt flag from the CPU to prevent VBS.
VBS is heavily slowing down Windows VMs and can cause issues (even with the v4.
As @ucholak said, Virtualization based security. Basically a windows feature for...
yes, that's definite a choice to try.
Currently I've activated the netconsole kernel feature to see maybe more what happens during the failure.
I'll keep you all updated about the next findings....

I question that setup to begin with.
You are passing through the whole disk to a guest, while at the same time mounting/using a portion/partition of it on the host.
Wish you good luck that you do not experience some kind of corruption sooner or...
Hey :)
If you set it to 'Static' in the GUI, you have to manually enter an address, and Proxmox writes exactly that into the interfaces file. Otherwise, if left blank or set to SLAAC, Debian's kernel just handles it automatically using Router...
Hi Ripon,
there can be multiple reasons für this kind of behaviour and the root cause can also be caused by the Hypervisor/ Host.
The described behaviour could probably point to a out of memory situation (especially with only 16GB RAM). You...
Hi,
If you know how to modify a BIOS, you can do it; otherwise, i don't thinks it's possible if the manufacturer has not put this option in BIOS.
Best regards,
Apparently in the newer kernel, you need to Enable Resizable BAR in your BIOS.
In 6.17.4-2 the driver attempts to resize BAR 2 from 256 MiB to 16 GiB but fails (due to lack of ReBAR support) and falls back gracefully to the original assignment...

Why did you delete the data LV that local-lvm is referencing? You gave all of the space to root (local) which is made for storing files and such, not guests. You technically can, but I don't recommend it. I'm really not a fan of LVM managing...
You have a really weird setup, and arguably you're implementing it wrong.

I just activated IPV6 on my network and I see than, in spite of not configuring IPv6 (i.e leaving IPv6 as static with IPv6/Cidr None) my containers (debian 13) still get IPv6 addresses with SLAAC and it seems they use eui-64.
I like that because...
