Welchen Prozessortyp hast du verwendet? v4 macht wohl Probleme mit aktuellen Windows Installationen. Nimm lieber v3.
I have to dig out this thread because I can't get the driver for a TBS 6922 PCIe card installed on the current Proxmox host (6.17.13-1-pve kernel). I have very limited experience, so when the provided instructions don't work, I'm out of ideas. I...
Setting it to disable will exclude the VM from all HA actions, including migrations of nodes to be rebooted and also doesn't restart it on a crashed node.
I know this can be a little annoying, but one can set the VM state do disable, and then do a shutdown in cli inside the VM.
Also, if you hit the shutdown button in the WEB GUI, the vm will remain shutdown, regardless its vm state in the HA stack.
Hallo stappoe
Hi. I just wanted to say thank you and mention that this is not Windows exclusive. I'm running the game KCD2 on a Fedora 43 VM, and finally changing the CPU model from 'host' to 'x86-64-v3' made the in-game slowdowns I was experiencing go away...
Hallo liebe Promox Profis,
Hey there! Welcome to the forum.
For the CPU Affinity, you can set the cores in the Processors options under Advanced (here I pinned my 4 vCPUs to core 0-3):
But normally, if you enable NUMA, it stays on one NUMA Node and uses all of those vCPU...
Hello,
I've two servers at the home lab. One plays the role of a NAS server with Truenas Scale installed. It is serving NFS v4 over a 10G network.
Then there is a server with Proxmox that consumes that service from Truenas over vmbr1 and is...
Annoyingly this isn't working on one of my nodes. The other one updated fine with --force and shows nodename.home which is what I've changed it to, but the other one still shows nodename.pbs.localdomain even though I've changed it to .home in the...
I eventually figured it out, it was due to ntopng package and nothing to do with pfSense or Proxmox. I did find out that disabling pcie power saving can help:
add pcie_port_pm=off pcie_aspm.policy=performance to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT in...
