Here is the terminal output from the host:
root@home:~# cat /etc/pve/qemu-server/101.conf | grep 0d
hostpci1: 0000:0d:00,pcie=1,rombar=0,x-vga=1
root@home:~#
For now, I will manually change the file to see if it fixes the issue
Usually i don't agree with that, because i've had customers on 3-node CEPH/Proxmox for more than 3-4 years without a hiccup (not counting power errors, etc). And nowadays, with proxmox it is everything batteries included, only thing admin needs to...
Hi @RoxyProxy,
Since questions around pricing, company future, and so on came up, we felt it was appropriate to chime in. First, we'd like to thank the Blockbridge customers earlier in the thread for sharing their thoughts.
To be honest...
Hello. I think I have found a bug in the web UI of Proxmox VE 9.1.1.
When I am creating a new VM, I select some PCI devices to pass through.
Here I am adding 0000:0d:00.4 and I click on the Add button (note the 4 on the end)

You're right to call that out. "Very small environments" was a poor choice of words on my part. The distinction I was trying to make isn't about node count, it's about business value. We have customers running three node clusters...
We're definitely at cross purposes here. Highly available storage <> highly available applications. And striving to have an infrastructure that delivers both is not a bad thing at all.
You too! The good news is you’ll probably get them up and running fairly easily - I found following the guides included here and a bit of tinkering had me up and running and feeding through to my TrueNAS in no time. Just something has happened in...

Well, I've got a few of these cards that I was formerly using in TrueNAS until I couldn't use them there anymore. I shall have a go at getting them going in Proxmox and let you know if I have any joy.
Quite fancy the idea of perhaps being able...
I didn’t sadly, but with the rest of the machine running fine following the big upgrade it’s kinda been on the back burner. It would definitely be nice to get it back online, I was hoping the card would make for dependable (as can be) storage...

I've got 3xm.2 slots, so I thought I'd expand the local lvm so I could throw a bunch of VMs on it instead of making each nvme into its own... I followed the commands to add the other drives to the VG, extended them... thought it was all good...
I see almost an identical error taking a snapshot of a Linux VM with pass through audio. I find the snapshot works if I shutdown the VM and restart after. I know that's inconvenient depending on what your VM is doing but it works.
The situation is more severe when the virtual machine's network card model is set to vmxnet3. Monitoring with iftop -i enp6s18 shows that the bandwidth on the VM's interface does not exceed 200M, indicating significant data loss.
iperf3 tests do...
Got a HP EliteDesk 800 G4 Mini as my first homelab, running Proxmox VE, with one VM to run my services.
However I’m getting random hard resets every 1-2 days, causing my services to go offline, and having to manually restart the VM.
No kernel...
Hi, i'm the developer of proxmoxbackupgo and s3 backup proxy , i'm happy to announce that as of now also backing up whole running OS to PBS is possible , restore is wip but can already be done "manually" by using dd + downloading the FIDX file...
