Thanks for the response.. I was hoping to avoid clustering for a 2 node home deployment, mainly due to the additional overhead and complexity. Then again, offline/manual migration seems like a simpler solution for my use case. Live migration... -

No. But from my perspective it is expected behavior to copy the data from one single machine to another single machine. The alternative is (of course) to build a cluster. Only then the relevant software knows, what "shared storage" means...

Aber Roland, wer sich die Community Subscribtion leisten kann, der soll da ja bleiben. Auch bei Vereinen empfehle ich das wegen dem Enterprise Repo. Es geht hier nur um die heulenden Home User, die nicht wissen wie eine Suchmaschine funktioniert.

Genau das ist die Frage. Wenn es hoch kommt melde ich mich vielleicht 1-2 mal die Woche auf meine Proxmox Gui an. In meinen Augen ist das ganze spätestens nach der ersten Threadseite zu einem klassischen Popcorn Thread gewachsen

Die Diskussion ist doch eh überflüssig. Die Community Subscribtion ist für Unternehmen gedacht die keine extra Support benötigen und nur Support von der Community bekommen. Jetzt noch extra von den Homelab Usern Geld zu verlangen, nur das der NAG...
