You can use
zpool status -v
lsblk -f
to check, but it really seems like the Universe storage is formatted for ZFS right now, not LVM.
Again, you can wipe the disks and re-create an LVM storage using these disks if that's what you want.
Proxmox...
I didn't say that I don't use ZFS at all in Proxmox.
ZFS are the two 600 GB disks where the VM is located.
Linux raid-a is not ZFS.
I don't think the problem is in the different names.
I changed them everywhere and it's still the same.
If it is all happening on the same host, you could consider using vmbr interfaces without a bridge port, or SDN simple zones without a gateway. Those two should technically be the same under the hood.
That way you can have a completely isolated...
If you need to use the same subnet multiple times, you need to utilize VRFs to separate them on the PVE host. This functionality is currently not implemented for Simple Zones. When using NAT this way, you'd also need a way of discerning return...

I'm actually working on deploying capture the flag challenges in proxmox where i need to have isolated instances of the same scenario( same networks, ip addresses... ) for every player, i'm still new to proxmox so it thought that the sdn zones...
Regarding RAIDZ versus (striped) mirrors on ZFS: https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/fabu-can-i-use-zfs-raidz-for-my-vms.159923/
I would run the SSDs in a triple mirror or (if you have budget for another 4TB SSD) striped mirror. Just buying...
Thanks, Dominik. I fixed my DEB822 sources and now see the candidate 550.163.01-2.
However, I've seen reports that version 550.163.01-4 contains a backported fix specifically for the 6.17 kernel build errors. You mentioned backports doesn't have...
Hi,
I'm trying to setup a secondary public network to a ceph cluster and I have problems. I've read two posts related to that but they are a bit different and that's why I start a new thread...
Sure I agree, and I too would very much like those features too. Especially the ability to open console of the hosts and guests from datacentre manager.
Hi Team
We had a VM that crashed this morning , no response from keyboard, mouse via ssh completely frozen so had no choice to reboot it.
Is there commands we can to or get a crash dump setup so we can see what caused it?
Looks like the CPU...
Nor am I expecting it to be, but as I said, the current city construction plans does not even include a mention of such features, so I have no reason to believe that this is on the agenda.
This is the only thing that's mentioned pertaining to...

I know it is off-topic, but as developer and software architect I like to know more about this. Google unfortunately did not help and the AI just repeats variants of "systemd breaks everything, because it is so modern".
Does anyone has some...
Update: I manage to get this working after changing the Hard disk from IDE to SATA.
Strange it worked on the first VM even though the disk was set to IDE.
I'm not sure if it's okay that there are no updates for kek, but it shouldn't be mandatory for upgrades.
*Even without the 0x4 flag, it will be marked as Updated, so it doesn't matter.
edit : I can't test it anymore since there are no virtual...
