Hi,
yes this is expected if the chunk has been evicted from the local datastore cache since the last time it has been seen. This indicates that the chunk is being re-inserted into the local store cache.
Hi there,
I'm facing a bit of a situation right now on my NAS running Proxmox 9.1.5
Userspace tools have been upgraded to 2.4.0
Module is still on 2.3.4 in kernel 6.14.11
Upgraded the pools already (I thought it was the issue)
Scrub command...
Looking at the roadmap, I can't actually see any mention of expanding VM management capabilities. So, I'm guessing a fully (or mostly) fledged vCenter equivalent simply isn't the idea here, or is very far out.
PBS handles VM and LXC backups well, but it doesn't have a native answer for ZFS datasets that live outside VMs and containers.
If you run a NAS with ZFS datasets—photos, videos, media libraries, ISOs—exported over NFS or SMB and mounted into...
I've already written what it does, and am not about to go on the full defensive. Reiterating succinctly: This is a wrapper for PBC. It adds inheritable backup config from within the dataset properties (vs. remembering to modify your PBC scripts)...
I have my home lab running at my friends.currently I have an bridge internal to pve that I have connected to pfsense and define vlans in pfsense.
it works but I wanna move more into automation and this isn't pfsense strong side.
hence I wanna...
To be fair the current version also has a kind of sdn support for EVPN (didn't tried it myself though) so it's not limited to migration. But I agree , the cross-cluster-migration is the main feature right now, if you have no use for this running...
You confuse lxcs ( Linux containers) with lxd ( Software for managing vms and lxcs) Both lxd ( and it's fork incus) and ProxmoxVE manage vms and lxcs. Lxcs are more lightweight than vms but only work for Linux applications since they run directly...
Another question on ARM. I was asked by one of our devs if it would be possible to have a cortex-m33 guest. From looking at
qemu-system-arm -cpu help
...
cortex-m33
...
What would I need to change in vm-id.conf in order for it to boot...
hm - passiert das auch mit einem anderen browser/in einem private window? - zeigt die browser console (developer utilities) einen fehler/warning?
Danke
Thanks for the reports! The errors described by @zhouu, @capnspacehook and @agross should be fixed with pve-container version 6.1.1 available on the pve-test repository.
We just changed this option from "Envelope" to "Header" - this resolved our issue (Gmail rejected the autoreplies from our Exchange server), and so far we can't see any disadvantages.
We are currently working on a proper fix upstream, but it will still be a bit: https://lore.kernel.org/qemu-devel/20260109120837.2772961-1-f.ebner@proxmox.com/
I sent a stop-gap for our downstream too, but it hasn't been applied yet...
Hi @McJameson,
the partitioning of your disk looks like what ZFS does. What do zpool list, zfs list and zpool import say? Your boot log also shows that ZFS is used.
Going to Datacenter > Storage > Add > ZFS and selecting rpool/data might already...
