Apologies, I can't reliably reproduce the issue. I'm not sure why. Earlier today every time I would start a backup swap usage would grow quickly. It does not do this anymore. I've tried different things and I do get the swap usage to grow, but...
Thanks! Morning! I have 2 VMs, configured to use about 13gb of the 16 available, so I guess 3gb available for proxmox. Utilization cpu is around 5% on average.
Hmm, seems I was celebrating too early :( ipv6 is still not working reliably....
Looks like the pve-host and it's lxc's and vm's do get proper ipv6 addresses and routes when I reboot the host, but somehow after 1 or 2 days or so the ipv6...
Thanks for replying. So it appears you're passing through a nvme drive?
Did you use this to pass through the disk before - https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Passthrough_Physical_Disk_to_Virtual_Machine_(VM) ?
What's interesting, in my testing (post...

Hello, I am new to proxmox VE and I have recently installed v9.1.1.
I have an LXC container that I configured with both an IPv4 (DHCP) and IPv6 (tried both static and SLAAC). I was trying to figure out why IPv6 was not working and I figured out...
Oh I got you. There is a layer of indirection in proxmomx in resource mapping in datacenter. I see that. Thank you for the advice and ill also clear those options out of my grub.
Do you mean, add this to the grub config? Yes I should have mentioned this was the other thing did
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="pcie_aspm=off intel_iommu=on iommu=pt"
certainly. here is how it is now addded, and working stabily. what a relief.
prior to this I was using a proxmox pass through command to map it to that VM. I also tried adding a thick volume for the data drive. long story short, whenever...
What is this sorcery I've never heard of?? I will definitely look into this.
Thank you for bringing this up. I live in a rural area so I'll ask my neighbors if they are doing any of these activities.
Mr iSCSI @bbgeek17 or @LnxBil (saw that you know about the lvm filter thing) can you explain and check the post, could be a improvement for the docs. Any help is really appreciated, thanks!
Good morning Flock6659,
May I ask how many VM's you are running and what your hardware utilization is looking like? Is the system running near max? Is there a holdout of Ram being kept by Proxmox?
I tried your approach @fschauer but it didn't work. Here's what finally got it working for me:
FYI @ihr .
1. Create the directory structure
mkdir -p /var/www/.config/containers
2. Generate authentication credentials
skopeo login <REGISTRY>...
it appears that my proxmox boxes are targeting the "mgmt" interface.

I also submitted the patch downstream, but it needs to be reviewed either way before it can get applied:

Oh nice I’ll try that tomorrow. I did the disable signature and everything yesterday and device manager, goes through the motions but then I have a no driver error. I’ll redownload a clean version of the driver and try again. See if that fixes...
