Additional information:
The clone operation fails when the source VM is powered off.
However, when the source VM is running, the clone completes successfully.
I am not sure why cloning works only when the VM is online and fails when it is stopped.
Hello,
Maybe you can try to install an other OS (Debian or a windows) to see if you have similar problems. Then if you don't have any issue with an other OS.
You can try a classic Debian installation with the official Debian 13 ISO and then...
For everyone interested I got it to work. I can not connect my proxmox backup servers (PBS) datastore to my Unraid network share but via NFS.
Problem: until Unraid 7.0.1 i could imply SMB mound a share from Unraid to the machine running PBS and...
Kommt darauf an, was du unter Standard verstehst.
Hast du beim Installer einfach immer auf weiter geklickt? Hast du eine boot SSD auf der du Proxmox mit ext4 installiert hast und dann hast du mit zwei weiteren SSDs einen ZFS mirror erstellt...
This issue was self-inflicted, not a PBS bug. Thanks for the hint!
The container was originally unprivileged and later switched to privileged to allow a bind-mount, but file ownership inside the container was not properly normalized. This led to...

Setup

We had this issue also. Rebooted to 6.14 and removed 6.17
For those who are looking for the commands:
# Boot to 6.14
# Rollback these 2 packages to remove dependency on 6.17 kernel
sudo apt install proxmox-default-kernel=2.0.0 proxmox-ve=9.0.0...
you can't, at the moment - the code in question there assumes 4k pages at the moment, and this is also encoded in the on-disk format, so can't just be bumped without breaking compatibility. we'd need to implement a fallback path there that works...
Hello,
We are also experiencing this issue in the latest Proxmox version 9.1.4.
Even copying the file via SCP did not improve the result.
We were unable to locate an RTM ISO from Microsoft, only a few questionable download links.
Are there any...
