Hi Community!
The recently released Ceph 20.2 Tentacle is now available on the Proxmox Ceph test repository for installation or upgrade.
Upgrades from Squid to Tentacle:
You can find the upgrade how-to here...
Was able to fix. I think when attempting my first install I was using iDRAC HMTL5 console with virtual media and it must have disconnected. When attempting again, it installed without errors and is running well now.
Was Dell Vertriebler zusammenstellen, da gibt’s teilweise ganz schlimme Sachen.
Today, we announce the availability of a new archive CDN dedicated to the long-term archival of our old and End-of-Life (EOL) releases.
Effective immediately, this archive hosts all repositories for releases based on Debian 10 (Buster) and older...
The most interesting feature in Tentacle with direct relevence to PVE is the instant RBD live migration. @t.lamprecht have you guys discussed implementation within PVE, and if so can you share your thoughts?
Laut Dell Support gehen da maximal 8 NVMe dran.

One more follow up. By having the host part in there as well, it is very clear which subnet is used, when you are not using a /24, but for example a /26.
For example with 10.10.20.81/26 as host IP:
The result would be that the network ID address...
Nevermind, found out how.
Documenting it here for posterity. :-)
On your proxmox node, do this.
List the containers:
pct list
Stop the particular container you want to resize:
pct stop 999
Find out it's path on the node:
lvdisplay | grep "LV...

Hello
We have a PBS server that is configured with a connection to a remote PBS server over a VPN with poor bandwidth. I'm trying to get the initial upload to complete but it looks like it will be weeks at the current rates. I will probably need...
Within the cluster itself? If so, I don't think you need the replication feature. Replication is for if you have non-shared storage between the nodes. Such as local storage, like a ZFS pool on each host. You can then use the replication feature...
I have a system running a 16k page size kernel.
When I try to create or restore a backup it fails with:
