If you care about performance then don't use "host" with Windows 11 / Windows Server 2025 for now, try something like x86-64-v4. This will disable VBS inside Windows which should help a bit. You may want to use virtio-win-0.1.271 drivers, not... -

fstrankowski replied to the thread PVE backups causing VM stalls.If the target system cannot ACK the writes fast enough, the PVE-Host stalls because of the IO-waits. Fleecing reduces that because it ACKs & write locally first before sending to the target system. Only works on fast local drives though.
