yeah, thanks for the warning. pve is probably for enterprise use. but i use it just for home enternainment. it's perfect for launching VMs on different machines @home since gpu passthough is supported (which is probably not meant as a enterprise...

If it still becomes vfio-pci even after disabling the blacklist, I believe early binding for vfio-pci is also configured. At the time of installing Proxmox, vfio-pci is not used under any circumstances. Please review the settings you configured...

If you don't use most of the nodes it's far more reasonable to not use a cluster at all but setup the datacenter manager in a vm to migrate between the nodes. Your current setup will always cause issues, there is a reason why the documentation...

I imagine you are referring to this. Put bluntly, yes there is support for waking up a node via WOL in PVE, but not for waking up the cluster! aaron has already given you this advice, but having the majority of the nodes sleeping = cluster...

From my opinion it has no sense to have a configured cluster with mostly of the nodes down.

The problem is that this node is part of a cluster, but cannot connect on any of the both networks to the remaining cluster: The result is that the service/protocol for the cluster communication is not working and as a result of this, the...

A regular Proxmox VE cluster needs the majority of the nodes to be online to be fully functional. With 2/3 nodes down, that is not the case.

I think the solve they came up with was specific to PBS, not PVE, but the underlying issue seems to be Unifi Drive not supporting the right options on your NFS exports, such as no_root_squash.

Hi xsuau, I write it in another way to clarify my understanding: You have 3-node cluster where two are identical production nodes with ZFS replaction (internal drives). You have PBS as a VM running in PVE which backups other VMs to drives in...

Thanks a lot for this! I've done it exactly like in the post and remove my config entry to /etc/modprobe.d/vfio.conf However after a rebuild of initramfs and a reboot I still see this: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: NVIDIA...
