Hello,
For 2 hard disk, with zraid1 software configuration (mirroring), in a hypotetic case, how should we proceed in order to replace a failed hard disk?
In traditional raid (mdadm) the basics is quite simple:
1. Unmount the failed hard disk.
2. Shutdown and replace hard disk.
3. Boot & clone partition scheme from other hard disk
4. Make a raid sync
So, in a traditional environment, with a full raid1- mirror you can boot OS once you have changed disk.
I don´t know in ZFS (proxmox install without custom scheme, all defaults values) when only the zpool appears as mirror, it could be possible this (load OS in only ONE disk).
Thanks, greetings!
