I have PVE 6.2 working on a ZFS 4x1.2TB drives "Raid10" using this P440ar in HBA mode. I saw some people were having issues with it, it basically worked first time when I gave it a go.
Before I tried installing PVE, I was using the P89 2.70 System HP BIOS with the P440ar using FW 1.40. It all seems to work okay, however I have since updated the P440ar FW to V7.00 and it still worked after the update.
I was able to hotswap the drives and rebuild them too.
I would use a the H310 in IT mode, but I was unable to wait for it to be delivered (with the Covid19 restrictions)
