ZFS replication of Proxmox using zrepl

Hello,
I'm looking at implementing a fan-in replication of our Proxmox servers to a storage server. I have 2 questions:

1) The directory /etc/pve is empty on the storage server. Why?
2) What is the best method of monitoring replication? Currently I'm using zed.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

We're looking at switching to checkmk from zabbix as well so this looks interesting

Hi,
Staff prefer the UI of checkmk and I find it easier to configure and maintain than zabbix. At least that's our experience with a test server.
