Hallo,

Ich habe einen Proxmox Server mit ein ZFS Pool und ein Datastore, die auf eine externe USB-Platte zeigen.
Die Konfiguration wurde durch die GUI erstellt (Create ZFS).

Alles funktioniert wunderbar, nur eine Frage bezüglich Disaster Recovery.

Wenn mein Backup-Server kaputtgeht, wie greife ich auf die Daten zu?
Ich kann einen neuen Server aufsetzen, Datastore-config restoren, aber wie kriege ich die ZFS pool? Gibt es ein Config-Datei?
Ich kriege die Platte in Proxmox angezeigt, aber kann ich dafür kein ZFS erstellen, daher kein zugriff auf die Daten.
Könnt ihr mir bitte helfen?

Erst mit zpool import DeinExternerPool den ZFS Pool auf dem der Datastore liegt importieren. Dann in PVE den Pool als ZFS Storage hinzufügen oder im PBS in der datastore.cfg einen entsprechenden Eintrag reinschreiben, welcher auf den Mountpunkt deines Datastores verweist. ZFS speichert eigentlich alles wichtige an Konfigs direkt als Metadata auf den Platten, dass man da nicht viel mehr machen muss als ein "zpool import" um einen Pool wieder zum Laufen zu bekommen.
