Should iscsiadm -m session always show an active session when utilizing ZFS over iSCSI (to a FreeNAS server in this case)?
The following is after a fresh reboot of the entire environment...
One of my Proxmox hosts, this is host 172.20.___.__2:
The other Proxmox host (configured exactly the same), this is host 172.20.___.__5:
From the other side (the FreeNAS server):
Note, I am unsure if it matters, but the 172.20.___.___5 host currently has 1 VM on it that happens to be a Windows machine. It's running VirtIO SCSI to a VirtIO Block Disk. The other host (172.20.___.__2) has 6 VMs running, all but one are VirtIO SCSI with a VirtIO Block Disk. The other is VirtIO SCSI with a SCSI disk.
Weirdly, there are 7 connections. If it was something I was missing with the VirtIO Block vs SCSI disk (for example), I'd expect that I'd see *5* connections to the FreeNAS environment from that host.
Why am I not seeing what I think I should be from the iSCSI side of things?
Thanks again!
