ZFS - No direct access to VM Storage

Hi all,

i'm new to ZFS and i've just noticed that it isn't possible to navigate directly to the VM storage folder (where the vm disks are saved). If you use local storage (ext4 or nfs) this is possible. Is there any reason for this?

I've also noticed that new images can be only created as raw format.

We use zfs zvols for disk images.
