I get the following message when I want to update from PVE 7 to PVE 8:

at least the debug log complains about Ceph-related packages. Please add the Ceph repository for the upgrade and try again: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Upgrade_from_7_to_8#Update_the_Ceph_Package_Repository

Thank you very much for the feedback. It was indeed due to source files of CEPH installation. After this is captured I have run through the update.
