Wrong charset input with VNC applet

Hi, yesterday I've tried the latest Proxmox 2, installed via repository on a clean Squeeze install.

I've configured a new virtual machines and booted the Debian Squeeze netinstall.

I noticed that the entire keyboard keys wasn't recognized correctly, when I was asked to enter Proxy details:
http://bla.bla.bla
I get wrong characters (i.e.: ç) instead of : and /.

My machine (where I was browsing the webif) keyboard charset was it, the proxmox server locale was it_IT, the virtual machine keyboard charset was it.

did you configure the right keyboard before you started?

see "Datacenter/Options: Keyboard"
