Hello All!
I'm working on a new installation of Proxmox 6.3-1 (updated to now 6.4-1). My background is predominantly in networking by trade and slowly working my way in to systems. I do have some experience with VMware 6.5 and older. I am building out the following setup.
3 node cluster using some old dl380 g6 I picked up from an auction. I do have them added to a cluster successfully. Proxmox is installed to the local raid on each nodes raid controller. I am fine with this setup as it will provide redundancy for the hyper visor if I have a drive go bad. In the not so distant future I will be adding a bare metal TrueNAS server for all future storage.
What I am currently struggling with is in regards to what I can do until I have the new storage in place. All the local volumes (local and local-lvm) do not allow me to upload ISOs. During my testing, I know I can pull a spare drive and add it to the controller as a raid0 volume and add a directory that way which gives me the ability to upload ISOs. Is this my only option or am I missing something simple? Currently I don't see a way I could add or modify the existing installation (local and local-lvm).
