Winter time: No access to PVE web with 2FA

Hi all,

I could without any issues connect to my pve yesterday. Today I recognized my fans are faster than normal and I made a hard reset of my server as I were not able to login to PVE.

This solved the cpu load (fans are quiet) but I am still not able to login with 2FA. Error is

authentication verification failure; rhost=::ffff:10.10.0.63 user=root@pam msg=oath auth failed

I checked my times on my phone and server:
- both are synched
- changed phone time back to summer time

Nothing solved it.

What can I do here to solve this issue?? Please help!!

I am running PVE 5.4.140-1

Fixed it with deleting x!oath: from /etc/pve/user.cfg

After I almost died of a heart attack.... Could anyone explain to me what happened here?
