While I'm using Proxmox2 VNC to connect to a Windows 2008 or graphical CentOS6, the picture is not covering the whole screen and I've trouble working with these two OSes via VNC,
Anyone else having this issue? Any fix for it?

Please specify your desktop operation system, the browser and the used java version.

I'm using windows7 with Chrome and Firefox while the Java version is Version 6 Update 32.

this works here, using latest Firefox (currently 12) and Google Chrome.

I made some test.

Test 1
Screen resolution: 1024x768 - 17" LCD
Live CD: Centos 6.2 Basic Video
Result: VNC console is larger then 1024x768 (screen is cutted).

Test 2
Screen resolution: 1152x864 - 17" LCD
Live CD: Centos 6.2 Basic Video
Result: VNC console is showing (almost) the whole desktop.

Try adjusting the resolution within the VM. The window does not scale (like VMWare) but will try to expand to match the setting sin the virtual machine.

My problem is with Centos6 while I'm installing it. during the installation I can't reduce the resolution from inside of VM.

install in text mode.
