Windows Server VM uses 95% of memory and stops automatically

Hi, I'm a newbie here, I'm writing a new post because my VM (Windows Server 2019) uses 95% of memory (RAM) on Proxmox GUI, and stops automatically.
The problem is that the VM doesn't use 95% of memory, but only 3GB (if you see that via RDP).

The problem is that the VM doesn't use 95% of memory, but only 3GB (if you see that via RDP).

1.) According to you screenshot is uses around 9GB not 3GB. Look at the diagram "compositione memoria". All that, except the biggest bar on the right, is used memory. Memory used for caching (5.6GB of your RAM) is still used memory not free memory because it will use/block full 9GB of the hosts RAM that no other VM or the host itself could use anymore.
2.) Proxmox can't see whats going on inside the VM if you dont install the qemu guest agent and ballooning drivers. According to your screenshot you didn't installed them or atleast didn't activates the qemu guest agent in the VMs options. And if you don't use the qemu guest agent I would guess you also didn't installed that WinVm with virtio SCSI and virtio NIC because these also need the drivers from the same driver CD to be able to work. IDE and E1000 are very slow. You might want to switch to the faster (because paravirtualized) virtio devices.

¡It works! Thanks Dunuin, im a beginner in Bareos too and i love it. I just mounted Qemu-guest-agent on my Windows Server 2019, installed, restarted and that's it. Thanks you so much¡ Greetings from Mexico <3
