Hi,
i installed a Windows Server 2025 VM on a Proxmox 9.2.2 node with 1 x Intel Xeon 6517P with 256GB RAM and SATA 6gb storage (3x SSDTC ER3 2TB on RAID-Z1 config).
The VM is set as follow:
CPU: 1 sock - 4 cores (x86-64-v4)
RAM: 8GB
Machine: pc-q35-11.0
SCSI controller: VirtIO SCSI single
Storage with discard, IOThread, SSD emulation enabled and cache=Write back.
OS Type: 11/2022/2025

virtio-win-0.1.271

The storage performances seems to be good (1 Gbyte/s R/W) but the VM is very slow during boot and running (5 seconds to start powershell and Edge for example).
I tried to change CPU from host" to x86-64-V2, V3, etc., increase RAM, change Machine type, etc. but without results.

Any ideas ?
Thank you very much.
