windows server 2025 not starting in Proxmox

we had a windows server 2025 machine in our proxmox. today suddenly it got shut down and we are unable to start it again. It's going to the autorepair files screen and suddenly the 'start now' screen appears. and VM is not switching on. we had taken a clone in Dec of the same machine.. That is also acting the same way now.please let us know how we can recoover the VM? it was very important machine. In the summary the CPU and Memory usage was showing very high but there wasnt any unsual acticities as per our knowledge. after thatmachine is not starting

Did you check the system logs [0] during that time frame? They might give you a hint about what went wrong. Your vm config [1] might also contain relevant hints about what is going on.

This sentence conflicts itself. The VM is switching on & booting up - but the Guest OS (VM) is playing up.

This looks most like a Windows issue - some MS KB update gone wrong? Driver issues?

By "clone" do you mean backup?

Restoring from a known working backup would be the way to go.
