Windows not updating IP to new.

Hello,

I have Promox server running Windows VPS.

It has Cloud-init drive. And the template of Windows VM has qemu agent installed with PCI communication drivers and balloon driver installed.

I cant setup a new server, and it works fine, the IP, & Password for administrator are set correct.

But it happens only the first time, if i go to cloud-init drive and change the IP, it would update within windows and it will keep running old one.

Am i missing anything?

TLDR: Windows installed gets updated with IP and pass, but if i change IP manually and then reboot, it wouldn't update the new IP from cloud-init.

Intel E1000. However i think i have somehow fixed this issue.

I have same problem with virtoi ethernet, but after change network adapter to e1000 problem disappear.
