Windows 8 change resolutions

Hi,

I was wondering if it's possbile to change the resolution of a windows 8 vm.
Because the resolution is to big for a 15 inch laptop like shown in the attatchment and its not possible to
change te resolution in windows 8 as it's greyed out in the options.

try another display setting. remember you have to stop completely the vm (press stop from pve web gui) to make it work

I have already tried that and it didn't matter.
How should it normally work, adjust it self or should I be able to change the resolution?

never tried w8, the closest I have is w2008r2, and with display "default" I can change resolution...

Like I mentioned before it only happens with W8, other OS work fine.

Does it help if you change display adapter to vmware compatible or spice?

I have tried all those options but nothing changes. Maybe you can try to install w8 yourself so you can see the issue.

Permission issue? Have you tried as administrator with security turned off
