Hi all,
I'm trying to install Windows 7 in Proxmox 3 and I don't think Windows can see the virtual hard disk. I've tried several combinations of storage formats and shortly after I click "Install Now", I get "..a required cd/dvd drive device driver is missing". I'm not sure what that means because it's reading the CDROM just fine. I can only assume it's talking about the virtual hard drive.
I've tried to change the Hard Disk to virtio (tried SCSCI and IDE too) and added a second CDROM with the Redhat Virtio driver iso loaded. I can then get as far as browsing the Virtio cdrom but when I click the Win7/ADM64 virtio drivers to install them, windows finds the Virtio SCSI, ethernet and Ballon drivers, grinds around for about 20 seconds and just repeats the same error message above.
Any idea what's up?
