Windows 2008 no disk

Im using proxmox VE 1.5 and cannot install windows 2008. It does not see any disks when trying to install. I tried SCSI and Virtio. What information can i provide to keep fix it ?

scsi is not recommended, go for IDE or virtio.

IDE drivers are integrated, works well on windows and they are widely used.

If you go for virtio, you need to point the windows installer to a driver ISO image, try this.
(just add two cd-rom drives to your KVM guest, the first is the windows ISO, the second the driver disk).

pls note, win7 and win2008r2 can use the same drivers.
