Hello, I have some problem to booting a VM with Windows 2003 R2 32bit, I have import the *.qcow2 files from virtualbox (working vm) but in proxmox not work, the error is "error loading operating system".

Proxmox version:

root@proxmox11:/datos2/images/138# pveversion -v
proxmox-ve: 5.3-1 (running kernel: 4.15.18-9-pve)
pve-manager: 5.3-5 (running version: 5.3-5/97ae681d)
pve-kernel-4.15: 5.2-12
pve-kernel-4.15.18-9-pve: 4.15.18-30

Also I attached a Windows 2003 Server cd and can boot fine, and run differents command like

fixmbr c: (Fixes MBR)
fixboot c: (Fixes Boot Sector)
bootcfg /rebuild (Lists all Windows installations that you can add)
chkdsk /r
chkdsk c: /p
and the error is same.

regards.

Hi,

Proxmox VE 5 is already EOL [0] consider upgrading to the latest version (Proxmox VE 5 to Proxmox VE 6 [1], then Proxmox VE 6 to Proxmox VE 7 [2]).

Regarding the VM boot issue, does the ide0 is the system disk? Did you follow our wiki about migration to Proxmox VE?

Yes the ideo is the boot disk, I try many different ways to migrate to proxmox, and all is same, not boot.

I have the vm working on oracle virtual box, with .vhd disks, I convert this disk to vmdk on virtual box machine, move to proxmox server, an later convert .vhd to qcow2 on proxmox, should be work ? but not work
