Hello All-

I have a clean Windows 11 VM with a PCI passthrough of a Nvidia RTX A2000 Graphics Card. After install the Nvidia driver from the company site - I get an error message "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43). Does anyone have a way to make the driver work?

Thanks you.

It sounds like you have the wrong version of the driver installed? I am using version 550.120 here with the same card but not under Windows 11.
It's best to boot Windows in safe mode and remove the driver. What version did you use for this card?

I can recommend taking a snapshot before doing such tests. This will allow you to easily restore your VM to it's previous state.

Would you like to post your VM config for us? That could also help us further.

Code:
qm config <vmid>

I downloaded the latest driver for which is 553.24. I'm going to find the install the driver you're running and see what happens.

Here's my vm config.Screenshot 2024-11-15 154403.jpg

I'm a newbie at this. I looked for the driver version you installed 550.120 - that's a Linux driver. How do I install a Linux driver in in the Windows VM?
