I have a windows 10 VM that no matter if I shut it down in the VM itself or if I use the GUI to shut it down I get the error VM quit/powerdown failed - got timeout
you need to change registry settings in windows or else you need to shutdown using windows console. by default windows does not allow Proxmox GUI its power settings.
Hi @cos.sys ,
Has the PVE server been updated underneath? Does the Windows VM exhibit the same behavior after rebooting the PVE server?
(Sometimes, I have observed funny behaviors of VMs when the PVE is updated)
