Windows 10 vm backup on proxmox 4.3 restored on proxmox 5.4

The restored machine tries to boot once , during boot I get a black screen and the machine reboots with not a bootdisk error
As of then it's in an endless reboot

I think it must have something to do with the different machine config parameters in 5.4
or a missing default lsi scsi driver in windows 10 ?

Anybody with this problem ? or have a solution ?

Have you tried to change the bus type of the disk to SATA or IDE? Don't forget to adapt the Boot order in the VMs options accordingly.

funny thing is it the same restored vm does work on the latest version no problem
