Hi there.
I'm struggling to get proper driver for VirtioSCSI VD.
OS is installed on IDE VD but I want to create a second VD in VirtIOSCSI mode. My goal is to copy some data to that drive and then move it to newer OS VM.

Now, I already tried ome various outdated virtio driver isos - no luck so far.

Thought so just want to be sure... What about different storage types? Let's say I want to create VD on attached NFS NAS 1st, then move it directly to ZFS filesystem on proxmox host?

That will work (without having it tested) because otherwise the fundamental idea behind virtualization would be totally broken...
My 2 Cents
